I must get it out again for this challenge! I really like all the Margo Lanagan you have on your list. We don't have the Brides of Seal Rock (I think is the title) out until Oct, here in Canada. Fables! Good choice, I've been really enjoying them this year also.

Wonderful selection, have fun reading for the challenge, Marg! And happy spring to you, as you say, we are just seeing the first tinge of fall in everything here. It will be fun to compare notes if you do go ahead with it. And Margo Lanagan is one of the contributors to The Mammoth Book Of Steampunk, another Hallowe'en month read for me this year; I ordered the anthology for the stories by Amal El-Mohtar (set in Syria) and Shweta Narayan (Mughal Empire). Hallowe'en is my yearly inspiration to venture out of my comfort reading zone, so it is going to be vampires, werewolves, zombies, and steampunk. All at the tamer, romantic end since I am a wimp, so not suited, I think, for this challenge. But I look forward to experiencing RIP VII vicariously through readers like you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-28706577287746037452012-08-31T00:12:36.123+10:002012-08-31T00:12:36.123+10:00I hope you get the chance to read Fool Moon as wel...I hope you get the chance to read Fool Moon as well! It is weird and wild and very cool. I wish you a wonderful Spring and at the same time am glad you'll be imbibing the spirit of autumn with us.

Just read Fool Moon a few weeks back and thought it was fantastic. Better than the first, which I liked. Very intense mid way through and it just doesn't let up. I'm hoping to get to Grave Peril soon. Carl V.
