I like to know what the next book need in my active series is so that if I'm at the library or bookstore and get a whim I can get the right one.

And yes, the numbers of my series is overwhelming and I never added up the ones I've finished or abandoned.SuziQoregonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15552565982732943323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-45412789313799559972010-07-15T03:19:58.876+10:002010-07-15T03:19:58.876+10:00I am impressed! I might change how I read. For example, for the longest time I bought the Stephanie Plum books as soon as they came out. These days I only get them from the library because they are overpriced, with far too big print size and then charged full price.

Jennifer, I am reading the last Pendragon book at the moment.Marghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508430635744720721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-41683341090086225852010-07-11T21:25:58.823+10:002010-07-11T21:25:58.823+10:00When you see my list(s), you'll feel very good...When you see my list(s), you'll feel very good -- I'm a series freak too (as you know).Beth Fhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08627666337961326265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-42699846360414469962010-07-11T18:55:03.025+10:002010-07-11T18:55:03.025+10:00Wow, so many series! I do like to try to keep track of what series I read but whether I hunt down the next book depends entirely on how much I like it (eg. love: Morland Dynasty, like: The #1 Ladies Detective Agency, not interested: Twilight).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-39903842559090469582010-07-11T16:07:13.285+10:002010-07-11T16:07:13.285+10:00That is an impressive list of series! The thing I ...That is an impressive list of series! The thing I find about series is that the books are all a bit too much the same, and I get tired of reading similar plots. The Stephanie Plum books used to be a hoot, but then they got kind of stale for me. I guess I like characters to evolve and grow, but once a writer hits on a winning formula he or she tends to stick with it. Which is sensible, as long as books are selling!Violethttp://www.still-life-with-books.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18884029.post-20278952682565024792010-07-11T14:14:22.262+10:002010-07-11T14:14:22.262+10:00Great list, I have read several of those.
