Advent Tour Update

I can't begin to express how pleased we are at how great the turn out has been for this year's advent tour .... so far! We have more people participating this year, than we have in the last two years combined! That doesn't mean that there isn't still room for more people to join in!

You too can join in by signing in at the above post. Your post doesn't have to be long - just something that you want to share with others.

I was planning to blog about some other stuff tonight but I got home to discover that one of the kids in our neighbourhood decided that it would be a good idea to come into our back yard and squirt an entire bottle of sunscreen that I kept by the back door all over the wood deck, and then to turn the electricity off at the switch. Not happy Jan! Not happy at all.

  1. Hi Marg, I'm looking forward to follow all the advent's post on your blog. ;-)

I really dislike pranks like that and kids always like to do stuff like that and think it hilarious. :-S

Btw I just tagged you http://anecasworld.blogspot.com/2008/11/bookworm-award.html

  3. I though we had it bad. We have kids who come and knock on our door and run away. They do this at night, which scares the crap out of me. That is destruction of property. Did you call the cops to make a report?

  4. Vickie, no I didn't, but I should have!

    Thanks Ana!

  5. OMG! Why would it even occur to someone to do that to you? The nerve. Sorry to hear that.

We used to have a novelty mailbox, it had been a Christmas gift from someone who knew I adored flamingos. It was a pink mailbox with long legs, a head, and feathers attached. I was vandalized twice, the second time so badly that I had to give it up and get a boring mailbox. *sigh*

  6. Sorry to hear that Marg. We just had our 4yr old's wagon torn apart by a neighboring teen. Why the vandalism? Kids need to be kept busy so they don't have time for stuff like this.

Anyway....looking forward to the advent blogs. Should be fun, fun, fun!
