It was Annie's birthday last week, and she didn't disappoint. Whilst I had heard of the place where we went, it was only due to the fact that they sell some scrapbooking type supplies. I had no idea that they did high tea as well, and I hadn't actually been there before!
Eight of us indulged in Sweet High Tea at Christina Re, all of us having been informed that we had to turn up in party clothes - no Melbourne black allowed! The tag line for the store is "Where a Girl Goes", and it is a very girly place, which suits Annie to a tea. We shared macaroons, tiny gorgeous cupcakes, and hidden on the stand below there were also some Belgian style chocolates. Delicious. Also on the menu, a variety of different flavours of tea. My choice was French Earl Grey, infused with a delicious bouquet of Rose petals and summer flowers. I don't normally go for flavoured teas as such, but this one was delicious!
