I've been typealyzed

The first day of spring (yay!) seems like as good a time as any to have some blog related fun!

The above is the result that I got when I added my URL to Typealyzer where it analyses what kind of writing it is that I do! In order to analyse, it looks at whatever posts you have showing on your blog. Given that at the moment I am showing my "woe is me" post from last week and memories of birthday cakes past I would say that the evidence on feeling is pretty much correct. Having said that the statements about avoiding conflicts and confrontation are totally true!

Here are my results:

ESFP - The Performers
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.
The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

Thanks to Kerrie from Mysteries in Paradise who posted after she was typealyzed!

  3. Interesting. I got ESFP too which is fun because I am, in "real life" an ENFP. I guess my writing is less feeling and more what is it sensing? Yes, I think that probably makes sense in type rather than in life and action.s Very cool.

  4. I think this would be my result as well, but I am off now to find out for sure. It sure sounds like me though! Very cool find, Marg!

  5. Thanks for the post, Marg! What fun! I did it and discovered that I'm a Doer. Quite accurate, actually. Haha!

  6. This is me, apparently:

The long-range thinking and individualistic type. They are especially good at looking at almost anything and figuring out a way of improving it - often with a highly creative and imaginative touch. They are intellectually curious and daring, but might be physically hesitant to try new things.

The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong minds and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abstract and theoretical in their communication they often have a problem communicating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use concrete examples. Since they are extremely good at concentrating they often have no trouble working alone.

    Hmmm

  7. Fun! When I take the test (not the blog analysis) it's more accurate. The blog analysis said that I'd likely be a race car driver, policeman, or firefighter because I like to take chances. Ummmm. No!

  8. Neat! I'm totally going to do this.

  9. How interesting! I couldn't resist trying it and got the following:

    ISTP - The Mechanics
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment and are highly skilled at seeing and fixing what needs to be fixed. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.

The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.

I am actually not a risk taker but the rest is probably quite accurate but I blame it on having to write lesson plans and tutorials for more than ten years where mechanics take precedent over creativity.

    Thanks for pointing out this!
