Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Claire has Mr Linky this week so head over to her blog to share you link so that we can take a look at your loot!
Here's mine for this week:
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - This author's book from last year, The Last Letter From Your Lover was one of my favourites for the year. I have high hopes for this book as well.
Double Play by Jill Shalvis - While I wait for the next Lucky Harbor book I am working my way through Jill Shalvis' backlist. I have read the Wilder books, and the two Animal Magnetism books that are already out, and now I am going to start on the duo of books that starts with this one and continues in Slow Heat
Currawalli Street by Christopher Morgan - I don't know much about this book apart from the fact that it kept on catching my eye whenever I was in a book store.
The Rebel Wife by Taylor Polites - When Zibilee reviewed this book I added it to my list. Then I read a number of other good reviews so I was prompted to check with the library. I was pleased to see it was on order and that I didn't have to wait long for it to come in.
The Garden Intrigue by Lauren Willig - Yay! A new Pink Carnation book! Can't say I like the new cover direction all that much but what can you do!
The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse by Susanna Davidson - I posted about this book and why I borrowed it as my Sunday Salon post this week.
A Duty to the Dead by Charles Todd - Not too long ago, a readalong of this whole series was announced. I know myself well enough to know that I will never manage to keep up with the schedule, but I was intrigued enough to pick up the first book in the series.
