Historical Fiction Reading Challenge: February statistics

Every month I share some of the statistics related to the Historical Fiction Reading Challenge. I try very hard to visit every post which has been linked (time permitting) and I find it interesting to see what are the books that people are reading and reviewing! I often end up adding a couple of books to my never ending TBR list.

In terms of the books read in February, there were 46 reviews linked up for the challenge, shared by 18 participants. There were 44 individual titles reviewed, written by 43 different authors. There were 3 reviewers who reviewed more than 4 books each. Thank you to everyone who shared their links whether it be 13 or just 1.

So which books were reviewed more than once in February?

Burn Down Master's House by Clay Cane was reviewed by Kim on Goodreads (including some interesting thoughts on the narrator of the audiobook) and by Laura from Laura's Reviews

The Wandering Queen  by Claire Heywood is a retelling of the story of Dido and was also read by Kim on Goodreads and by Helen at She Reads Novels

There was also one other author who had two books reviewed this month. Laura from Laura's Reviews read Mail Order Duchess and Mail Order Baroness by Misty M Beller this month.

The other books that really caught my attention this month were Passage to Tokyo by Poppy Kuroki which Laura reviewed. It is a timeslip story set in Japan. I have requested the first book in the Ancestor Memories series from the library!

I have also added The Road to Dalton by Shannon Bowring to my TBR list thanks to the review at Staircase Wit! I was also pleased to see An Astronomer in Love by French author Antoine Laurain reviewed at She Reads Novels. I really enjoyed that book when I read it a while ago!

If you enjoy reading Historical Fiction why not join us? You can find all the details here.

I am sharing this with Sunday Salon hosted at Readerbuzz and A Good Book and a Cup of Tea hosted at Hopewell's Library.
