Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should be Reading:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!

This week's book is from page 105 of Diamond Dove by Adrian Hyland

The dogs played their part beautifully, huddlind in the distance like a flock of new-mown sheep. All except for old Leather, the attack dog, who couldn't help himself and was curling an upper lip in a manner most un-sheeplike.

  1. I think I've heard of this book isn't Diamond Dove set in Australia?

  3. Great teaser! It reminds me of our own dogs, my lhasa is a total sheep but our border collie is the wolf who protects the herd.

  4. Interesting teaser --- I love the random pages teaser, since each sentences are always from different books pages. I think I join...next week.

I want to thanks you SO MUCH for keeping me and my family in your thoughts during the hurricane Gustav. We couldn't have made it without you. My family and I are fine. The only damaged Gustav did to us was blowing power outage and fallen trees. I updated the new at my blog....

    But thanks again! *big hug*!

  8. Again Marg, thanks! I don't think Ike is coming through Louisiana but if it does, then it'll be category 2. But I've heard that Ike is coming through TX. I pray for everyone in TX...
