Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
I am lucky in that I very rarely get any fines on my library card, or more precisely, I keep a pretty close eye on due dates etc so that I don't get many. I don't however seem to be able to manage to remember to check my son's library card, and as a consequence, I am currently paying off quite a large fine on his card. I can't explain it either.
Clare has Mr Linky this week, so head on over to share your loot.
Here's my loot for this week:
Notorious Pleasure by Elizabeth Hoyt - It's been too long since I have read an Elizabeth Hoyt book.
Soulless by Gail Carriger - From what I can, this book is kind of divisive. Lot of people love it, but there's some who, well, don't.
Creed's Honour by Linda Lael Miller - I have read the first and third books in this trilogy, so given my completist tendencies, I had to get this to read it. Normally I don't like to read out of order, but I made an exception this time.
The Last Goodbye by Sarah Mayberry - So bearing in mind that last statement, I had to borrow this one from the library once I realised that the egalley I had was for a second book.
Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich - I just can't seem to help myself. Even though I have been disappointed in the last few Plum books I still keep on putting my name down to get them from the library.
The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar - My next book club book! The last two books have been books that I suggested, and everyone has enjoyed them. This is one I haven't heard a lot about so it will be interesting to see what it is like.
