Library Loot: October 5 to 11

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

I was intending to go to the library again tonight but the fact that our clocks sprung forward over the weekend has thrown me a little. I was enjoying the sunshine and sunset when suddenly I realised that it was 8 minutes until closing time and there was no way I was going to make it.

Oh well. Will just have less loot to show you, because there is still loot given that I generally make more than one trip to the library each week.

Here's my loot for this week:

We'll Always Have Paris by John Baxter - Not sure if you can see the subtitle of this book or not, but it is Sex and Love in the City of Lights. Not my normal read, but I recently read one of John Baxter's other books so I know I like his voice so I thought I would give this one a go.

Birds of a Feather by Jacqueline Winspear - the second Maisie Dobbs book.

What loot did you get this week? Add your link to Mr Linky below:

  5. Amanda, I really want to read that book but my library doesn't have it. I just read Immovable Feast and really liked that one!

    Thanks Linda

Zibilee, this is the second one so still have only read one.

Book Worm Rebel, it's not too bad. I am trying to think of a good analogy for the structure.

Sam, no loot! Hopefully that means that you are winning in the great TBR pile battle this week!
