Anna Funder wins the Miles Franklin Prize

The winner of most prestigious literary prize in Australia was announced tonight, and for once it is a book that I have actually read and reviewed!

The winner was All That I Am by Anna Funder, and you can find my review here.

Congratulations to Anna Funder!

    1. It doesn't happen often enough for me, so it is worth being proud when it does happen.

  3. Really must get this one off the bookshelf! I'm terrible at reading winners beforehand! (Although I did read the Orange Prize winner last year, so I'm dining out on that!)

  5. It's not often that I have read the winners so don't feel bad.

  6. I dashed back to look at your review because the name "Anna Funder" rang a bell. Oh. The Stasiland author! I actually passed up reviewing her novel because I couldn't get into Stasiland -- ended up asking my son if he wanted to do a guest review, which he did. I may have to give it a go. I enjoy reading the Miles Franklin award winners, when I can get my hands on them.
