I may have created an issue for myself!

My son seems to have discovered the joys of EBay over the last couple of days. Not that he is bidding for himself but just going and searching for items that he might like and then nagging me to come and have a look at them.

And now that we have won two auctions it may well be that this won't be the first time that we have the conversation about not having to buy everything we see.

Of course, that's not how the conversation really goes - it's more usually along the lines of "can you pick up your crap from all around the house" followed by "well you certainly don't need any more toys if you don't have enough room to keep all the ones that you do have tidy!"

  1. I know what you mean about ebay!! My hubby thinks I buy way too much stuff from there - especially books. But what's there today may not be there tomorrow!!

  2. I was a bit worried that I was going to go a bit nuts when I started using it, but I have been remarkable self controlled!

  3. but at least, he shows you what he wants to buy and doesn't bid himself. Apparently, here in Canada, there was a 3 years old baby who bought a car for 19,000$ ^^; so see, how lucky you are? :D

  5. I think i heard somewhere about a child buying a £500,000 ferrari on Ebay because the childs parent's left themselved logged in on the machine.

The thing with ebay is 9/10 times there is always a bargain to be had.

Its down to self control and how much you really want whatever it is!

Children should most definitely be monitored when using sites like Ebay.
