How to make me laugh until I cry

I am at home by myself tonight as my son is off staying at my sisters for the night, because it is school holidays. On the rare occasions when I am temporarily childless, I must confess I feel a little bit lost in terms of what to do with myself, unless I have specifically arranged to go out.

Tonight when I got home from work, I had a very average dinner and was just contemplating catching up on my feeds, when I noticed that Top Gear was on. Now, I think I have mentioned before that I really enjoy watching this British show, so much so that I have been overdosing on it a bit lately. I have recently purchased two DVDs of the show, and then tonight's episode was on the TV.

I don't know why, but the three hosts make me laugh until I am crying with their antics, and tonight was no exception.

One good thing is that I didn't feel quite so lost afterwards, having had a such a good belly laugh.

All of the parts of the episode are available on Youtube, but I thought I would embed the part that made me laugh the most! Warning: This episode was a bit controversial because of the jokes that Jeremy made.

If you have a spare half an hour, then enjoy!

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

If you only have 10 minutes or so, then this one is one of my absolute favourites - a particular highlight is the car wash scene at the end!

The only problem with all this laughing is that I am still not feeling 100% and so now I am also coughing!

  1. LOL. I am not very fond of Top Gear or any other car-show. Maybe because I never had a car myself, despite having had a drivers license for most of my life....anyway, your post was uplifting to read and I hope you are over your coughing as well.

  2. We love Top Gear in our house. At one time it wasn't so easy going, but the show has become more for the whole family to sit down and watch now. Brings many laughs into our house too.

I really like James May, Captain Slow. He's my favourite. :)

  3. I'm not really a car person, but DH and I love watching Top Gear. We laugh so hard at all the stuff that they do. I always feel better after watching it :)

  4. Ha - those were too funny. And I know exactly what you mean about finding yourself kidless for a evening. A bit an adjustment period, then I'm so pleased with the silence I don't get anything useful done!

  5. LOL - "Run for your lives" :)

I've never seen this before. Interesting.

I hope you get over your cold soon. I hate the way I cough for months after I get a cold.
