Teaser Tuesday: Do you know what book it is?

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

So the idea of Teaser Tuesday is normally to tell you which book it is that the teaser I have chosen comes from. I am however going to do something a little different this week. I am going to share my teaser, but I am NOT going to tell you which book it is from. I am pretty sure that at least some of you will know where the teaser comes from. Don't worry. If you don't know, scroll down underneath the teaser and highlight where it says TITLE and you will be able to see what book it comes from.

'What do you mean?' he said. 'Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?'

TITLE - The Hobbit by J R R Tolkien - end TITLE

I have yet to read TH. I have it on our shelves but got around to it. Maybe it can be a read along with Sophie and Kyle. :)

  7. Kaye, you need to highlight between where it says Title and End Title and you should be able to see what is written there.

Susan, I have never read that book. One day!
