This Week ...

I'm reading...

Over the weekend I finished The Vanished Days by Susanna Kearsley.  I will be sharing my thoughts as part of my Top Ten Tuesday post tomorrow.

I decided that I wanted to read something that I knew I would enjoy so I started The Secret of Snow by Viola Shipman. He has been my author discovery this year. I think this is the fourth book I have read by him this year.

I also need to make time this week to read my book club book

I'm watching...

This weekend we ended up watching three of the four Hunger Games movies. It wasn't really a conscious decision. It was more oh the first movie is on, and then the next and then the next. We will watch the fourth one this week I think. I will say I was about 15 minutes into the first movie when I was just reminded how annoyed I was with the epilogue of the third book. Still!!

Life

More and more things are opening up here. I am still not in a hurry to go to the shops, but we are starting to make plans about going to events, and catching up with more friends. Tomorrow it is a public holiday here. For a horse race. Yes, you read correctly. And no, we most likely won't be watching it

We are going to be visiting family in the evening so my plan is to get up, go for a walk, make a cheesecake and chill. That's about it really!

  2. I still haven't read a Kearsley book! I need to as I've heard SO many good things about them.

I'm glad to hear that things are opening up. Everything is open here in Arizona and most people don't wear masks anywhere unless they HAVE to, so it's weird to hear about stricter procedures in other countries. Stay safe!
